To add new products and their URLs to Prisync in bulk, you’ll need to prepare your data in an Excel (.xlsx) file.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: This guide applies only to non-Shopify users.
First, simply click the Import button on the Products page of your account.
Then, select Start Import.
On the next page, make sure to choose the 1st option: Add New Products
The steps below will help you complete the import:
A. How to Download the Sample Excel File?
You can download the sample template here or from the Add New Products page (Account Login Required).
B. How to Fill the Import File?
In the template, you will find predefined columns for product information: Name, Product Code, Barcode, Brand, Category, Product Cost, Additional Cost, and Your Own URL.
When adding new products, please keep the following in mind:
Name, Brand, and Category fields are mandatory. If any of the fields are left blank, the product will not be imported.
If you do not have information for Brand and/or Category, you can enter them as "No Brand" and "No Category".
If the same product appears multiple times in your Excel file, only one instance will be imported.
Products are treated as duplicates when they share the exact same Name, Brand, and Category.Products that already exist in your Prisync account will not be re-imported.
Adding Your Own URL will allow us to calculate your Price Position and Index.
You can add more Competitor URL columns if needed. Please ensure that all links are entered in the full https:// format, rather than as hyperlinked text.
C. Mapping Properties
Now it’s time to map the columns in your file to Prisync’s properties. The properties are:
- Name
- Product Code
- Brand
- Category
- Product Cost
- Additional Cost
- Tags
- Your Own URL
- Competitor URL
You can rename the columns in your template, as long as each one is mapped to the correct Prisync property; otherwise, it will be ignored.
For example, if your file uses “Competitor 1” as a column header, you should map it to the “Competitor URL” field in Prisync.
After completing this final step, click the Complete Import button located at the bottom right corner of the page. Your file should then be imported into your account.
D. Import Status & Errors/Warnings File
Once the process is complete, you’ll be able to view their statuses. There are three possible statuses:
Completed successfully
Partial import (partial success)
Canceled
You will also see a summary of your import, including the number of products added and any errors encountered. From the Actions dropdown, you can download the import file, as well as any errors/warnings files.
