As we all know, sometimes products in online stores go to stock out and some sites prefer to still show the price of the product even if it’s out of stock. In this scenario, Prisync doesn’t have any struggle to get the price and stock information from the page and show it in the web dashboard. However, by default, the price of the products that are out of stock are not shown in the Excel reports and also they’re not counted in position calculations. Let’s take a look at the screenshot below:
As you see, madeindesign.co.uk is out of stock for this product and they keep their price on the product page and we still show it in the dashboard as 155.00. However, even if it’s higher than our own prices (amazon.co.uk, 150.98), our position is shown as highest on the top right corner of the product. This is because of the default setting as mentioned above. When we also take a look at the Excel report for this product, as you can see below, the price of madeindesign.co.uk isn’t shown in it.
However, from stock out settings page, you can change this setting and include stock out products’ prices in the Excel report and in position calculation. All you need to do is to choose Yes option for this setting:
And here is the results after choosing yes option:
And Excel reports contain the price of out of stock products:
As a result, if you want to see the price of out of stock products in the Excel reports and contain them into position calculations, click Yes option for stock out settings.
