By default, this preference is set to 'No' when you first create your account. If 'No' is selected, URLs with out-of-stock products will not display a price in Excel reports, even if price information is available on the products page. You can change this setting at any time and immediately export a new Excel file based on your updated preferences.
In cases where products go out of stock but the price is still shown on some sites, Prisync will continue to retrieve the price and stock information from the page and display it on the web dashboard.
For example, let's consider a product that is out of stock but the website still displays its price.
In the scenario below, the website babysecurity.co.uk is out of stock for this product but continues to display the price of £90.00 on the product page. Despite this, we show the price on the products page as £90.00. However, with the default settings for Excel exports, the price section of this product will appear as follows:
As you can see, even though we display the price of £90.00 on the product page, it is not shown in the Excel export.
If you change the setting to 'Yes,' this is how the same product will appear in the Excel export:
The change takes effect immediately after adjusting the settings.
If you want to include the prices of out-of-stock products in your Excel reports and factor them into position calculations, select the 'Yes' option for the stock-out settings.
